Giving back is a fundamental requirement of the Scouting program, but more importantly, it teaches our youth how to be active, responsible citizens in their own neighborhoods. We want our Scouts applying their leadership skills and hard work to real-world needs right here in Mashpee.
Our scout-led model means the youth take an active role in planning and executing these efforts. Whether it is organizing our town-wide "Scouting for Food" drive to support local pantries, helping with conservation cleanups, or providing volunteer labor for a community event, our troop is always looking for ways to step up. Because every rank advancement requires community service hours, partnering with us is a mutually beneficial way to get a project done while helping a Scout progress.
If your local organization, town department, or non-profit needs reliable volunteer help, we want to hear from you. We have a dedicated adult Community Service Coordinator who works directly with our youth leaders to evaluate and schedule local projects.
Please fill out our Contact Form or email us at info@troop36mashpee.org with the details of your project, the timeline, and how our Scouts can help.
